The children living at the Bloom Center come to us either behind in their studies or barely able to attend school on a regular basis. We help them to dream bigger! With help from a full time tutor the children are able to immediately begin working towards where they should be in education based on their ages.

I am going to explain about children education, health and maternal children in India under the age of 18 years.
There are 444 million children in India under the age of 18 years. 42% of married women in India were married as children. 1 in every 3 child brides in the world is a girl in India. India has more than 45 lakh (5,180,958) girls under 15 years of age who are married with children. Out of these, 70% of the girls have 2 children.
1. Education: 1 in 4 children of school-going age is out of school in our country. 99 million children in total have dropped out of school. Out of every 100 children, only 32 children finish their school education.
2. Health and Nutrition: 19.8 million children below age 6 in India are undernourished. Only 9.6% of children between 6-23 months in the country receive an adequate diet. 36% of children under 5 years of age are underweight in India.
Maternal Health: Only 21% of mothers (1 in 5) receive full antenatal care in the country. More than 50% of the pregnant women aged 15-49 years were found to be weak.
